SolarWise Pro respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.
1. What Data We Collect
1.1 Data You Enter (stored on your device only)
Your projects (names, location coordinates, system size, tilt, orientation, losses and shading), financial inputs (system cost, tariff, incentives, O&M), saved results and electricity bills you log. This data is stored only in the app's private database on your device. Nexovia LLC has no server for this app and never receives, stores or has access to it.
1.2 Location
Location permission is optional and limited to approximate (coarse) location. It is only used when you tap "Use my location" to fill in latitude and longitude. The coordinates are processed on your device: all solar irradiance data (NASA POWER 2001–2020 climatology) is bundled inside the app, so no API is called with your location. You can always enter coordinates by hand instead. Separately, Google's Firebase and AdMob SDKs may estimate a general (city or region level) location from your IP address, as described below.
1.3 Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand which screens are used. The app logs screen views only; it never logs the values you enter. Firebase uses a per-install app instance ID and derives an approximate location from your IP address. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
1.4 Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) collects crash reports when the app encounters an error: device model, Android version, app version and a technical stack trace. No project data, coordinates or financial inputs are included. Crash data is retained for 90 days.
1.5 Advertising (Google AdMob, free version only)
The free version shows a small banner and occasional, rate-limited interstitial ads via Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and IP address (to estimate general location) to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Ads, and the use of your advertising ID, stop completely once you upgrade to SolarWise Pro.
1.6 Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's certified consent message (User Messaging Platform) before ads are loaded. You can review or change your choices at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy choices.
1.7 In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Google Play. Nexovia never receives your payment details; Google Play confirms the purchase to the app.
2. What Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your name, email address or any account information (no account is needed); precise GPS location; photos, camera or microphone data; contacts, calendar or SMS; or files on your device. We do not sell your data.
3. Exports You Create
When you export a PDF report or a CSV file, the file is created on your device and shared only where you choose (for example, email or a file manager) through Android's share sheet.

5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your projects and bills live only on your device. Delete a project by swiping it away in the Projects list or with "Delete project" on its screen. To remove everything, clear the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps → SolarWise Pro → Storage, or uninstall the app. Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months and Crashlytics data for 90 days.
6. Children's Privacy
SolarWise Pro is a solar engineering tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact support@nexovia.cloud and we will take steps to delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Because your project data never leaves your device, you control it directly. For data processed by Google services, see Google's privacy tools. 8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
