SolarWise Pro respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.
1. What Data We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide (stored locally on-device only)
Your solar project data including project names, appliance load profiles, GPS coordinates you enter or detect for solar calculations, system configuration parameters, and financial inputs (system cost, tariff, O&M costs). This data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's local Room database. Nexovia LLC never receives, stores, or has access to this data.
1.2 Anonymous Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics including which app features are used and how frequently. This data is aggregated and anonymized; no personally identifiable information is linked to analytics events. You can opt out via your Android device's Google settings.
1.3 Anonymous Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to automatically collect anonymous crash reports when the app experiences an error. Reports include: device model, Android OS version, and a technical stack trace of the crash. No user-generated data, GPS coordinates, or project content is included in crash reports.
1.4 Advertising Identifier (Google AdMob — Free Tier Only)
The free tier of SolarWise Pro shows ads via Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Ads and the use of your advertising ID are fully removed when you purchase SolarWise Pro.
1.5 Location Data
If you grant location permission, your device's GPS coordinates are used solely to look up solar irradiance data for your location. GPS coordinates are sent to NASA/PVGIS dataset APIs to retrieve irradiance data. Nexovia does not log, store server-side, or share your GPS coordinates with any third party. Location permission is optional — you may always enter latitude and longitude manually.
1.6 In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Pro upgrade purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. Nexovia does not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase verification is handled by Google Play's billing system.
2. What Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect: your name, email address, or any account information (no account required); photos or camera data (the app does not use the camera); microphone or audio data; contacts, calendar, or SMS data; device files or storage contents beyond the app's own exported files; or any data for sale to third parties.

No personal data is transmitted to these services beyond GPS coordinates used for the irradiance query.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your solar project data lives entirely on your device. To delete it: go to Settings → Clear All Data within the app, or uninstall the app. Anonymous Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained per Google's standard data retention policies (typically 14 months for Analytics).
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
SolarWise Pro is a professional engineering tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@nexovia.cloud and we will take steps to delete it.
6. Your Rights
Because Nexovia does not collect personally identifiable information, most data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion) are exercised directly on your device. For any privacy questions, contact us at support@nexovia.cloud.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
