1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) — screen views, feature usage events. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Anonymous crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — device model, OS version, crash stack trace. No personal data is attached.
- Advertising ID (Google AdMob — free tier only) — used to serve relevant ads. Not collected on the Pro tier.
- Calculation history — stored locally on your device in an encrypted Room database. Never transmitted to Nexovia servers.
- Purchase status — stored in encrypted local SharedPreferences. Managed entirely by Google Play. Not stored by Nexovia LLC.
2. How We Use Information
- Firebase Analytics data is used to improve app features and user experience.
- Firebase Crashlytics data is used to identify and fix bugs.
- AdMob data is used to display relevant ads to free-tier users only.
- We do not sell, share, or trade any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Material Calculator Pro uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — anonymous usage tracking. Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — anonymous crash reporting.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — in-app advertising on the free tier. Removed completely upon Pro upgrade.
- Google Play Billing — in-app purchase for the Pro upgrade. Nexovia LLC does not handle or store payment information.
4. Data Storage and Security
All calculation history is stored in an encrypted Room database on your device. Favorites and settings are stored in local SharedPreferences. No user data is transmitted to Nexovia servers.
Android permissions used:
INTERNET— required for ads (free tier) and Firebase reporting.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— checks connectivity before loading ads.BILLING— enables in-app purchase for the Pro upgrade.
5. Your Rights
You may delete all calculation history and favorites at any time from within the app (Settings → Clear All Data). Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
To request deletion of any Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics data associated with your device, contact us at support@nexovia.cloud.
6. Children's Privacy
Material Calculator Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated for general audiences (Everyone) on Google Play and complies with COPPA requirements.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
